Welcome to the official website of the Auxiliary to the Military Order of the Cootie (MOCA). Whether you are one of our dedicated members or are discovering the MOCA for the first time, I am glad you are here. I encourage you to learn more about our organization and discover the many ways we are working together to serve our Veterans.

Our organization has a proud history, but we also have an exciting future. Through Operation REBOOT, we are
committed to moving the MOCA Into the Future! by strengthening our organization. We are focused on
revitalizing our Auxiliaries, expanding our reach by developing new Auxiliaries, and providing our members with the tools they need to build healthy, active Auxiliaries where members want to participate.

The MOCA is tiny, but we are mighty! I am incredibly proud of what our members accomplished during the
2025–2026 year. With fewer than 3,000 members, we:
  
* Contributed over 40,000 volunteer hours serving our Veterans.
   
* Traveled more than 243,000 miles to serve those Veterans.
     
* Donated more than $97,000 in support of our Veterans.
     
 *Altogether, provided $1.7 million in service to our Veterans.

These numbers represent lives touched and countless smiles shared with those who have served our nation.

As we continue serving others, we must remember one simple truth: we must take care of ourselves so that we can
take care of our Veterans. We must recognize when an Auxiliary is struggling and make sure its members have the support they need to move forward. By strengthening and supporting one another, we can build healthy, active
Auxiliaries where our mission can thrive. The stronger our Auxiliaries become, the stronger our organization becomes—and together, we can serve more Veterans.

My theme this year is Battlefields to Barnyards, and I am excited to support Restoration Ranch and its use of equine therapy to help Veterans. At the VFW National Home, Supreme Seam Squirrel Tracy Woodman and I have a joint special project supporting the Veteran and Family Mental Health Wellness Program, which includes equine therapy, outdoor and nature-based activities, and other wellness initiatives.
